  • Where are the robe doors manufactured?

All doors are manufactured in our factory at Mulwala, New South Wales. Only the best materials used and all doors must pass our quality control standards prior to leaving our factory.

  • What is included in a basic wardrobe sliding door kit?

Our wardrobe sliding doors include top and bottom tracks (with end caps for neat finish) and come with all necessary fittings for easy DIY installation including screws and no more gaps.

  • Do the doors come in standard sizes?

All our wardrobes are custom built to your measurements so there are no standard sizes. However the standard maximum width to all sliding wardrobe doors is 1200mm and maximum height is 2400mm.

  • I have a really high ceiling, what is your maximum door height?

The maximum height our sliding door wardrobes can be installed in is 2400mm. Should your ceiling height be higher than this, we can accommodate by offering a 12mm board which can go to 3000mm high.

  • What if my floor, ceiling or walls are uneven?

It’s important to ensure your floors are level. Check using a spirit level. If they are uneven, please send the smallest number to us in your order. Our wardrobes are built with some tolerance, which will allow for some minor adjustments. It is more important that the width and height measurements are accurate and you are encouraged to measure this at least twice.

  • Where can I view your wardrobes?

We have the full range of robe doors on display  in our showroom.  DIY Outlet operate out of the Simply Frameless Glass Concepts showroom in Mulwala. Our showroom is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

  • Do you have samples of the wardrobe colours?

If you cannot visit our showroom, you can view our framed lamiwood wardrobe colours on our website.

  • Do you deliver doors if required?

We can deliver your made to measure wardrobe within two weeks of ordering. We deliver through the Northern Victoria and Southern New South Wales region for an additional charge.

  • Where do i pick up my door from?

All door are to be picked up from our showroom at Shop 7 97-103 Melbourne Street Mulwala, New South Wales.

  • What if I can’t find exactly what I’m looking for?

If you have a particular design in mind or have seen something you like elsewhere we may be able to give you a quote.

  • Are the doors easy to install?

Fitting should give a good DIYer no problems at all. Only basic tools are needed and we are always on the end of the phone if you need help. Fitting instructions can be found on our website.

  • What should I do if I have carpet?

If you are installing the wardrobe doors onto carpet, ensure that when you measure, push down hard into the carpet with the tape measure to a true reading.
